The gastric bypass pill:
Is there a gastric bypass pill? what does the gastric bypass pill do? These are just a few examples of questions that I am asked, and while I am *not* a doctor, I will share with you what I know about these pills. Basically what the pill is advertised to do is fill the stomach with a "natural balloon" that "makes it impossible" for you to eat, you will be simply stuffed to the brim after taking this pill. There are a few manufactures of and distributors of these pills, and several different brands to choose from. I have personally talked to about half a dozen people who have taken "gastric bypass pills" and none of them has experienced weight loss. I am not saying that you won't lose weight on them, but I am saying that every single person I have talked to hasn't lost any whatsoever.
Most of these pills are advertised to be "100% natural" on the box, but as always, look at the ingredients of the things before you pump them into your system. I have not had personal experience with them so I am not the authority on gastric bypass pills, but everyone I know who has taken them have not been satisfied with the results. They were expecting to lose 75lbs in less than a year, and keep the weight off for all eternity, this just didn't happen.
